I have a degree and worked in accounting for 12 years in Peru. How do I get a job in accounting in the USA?
I live in USA (md). I am taking english classes and learning to drive. What type of company would be best fit. Should I take accounting classes again in USA?

Excellent Question! Let me know, because my future wife has the same situation you have, except she is from Japan.
3 :
Get a grasp of the english language and become a cpa (Certified Public Accountant). I'm sure there are courses that will teach you the tax laws in the US, and state by state. After you understand them get your certification.
4 :
step 1) Get a green card step 2) Learn to speak english step 3) become a republican

you will need to fill out an I130 form and you could print that of the internet or you could get an immigration atty.
2 :
Paperwork you need to do to get married in Peru: Single hood certificate Birth certificate Both for international use. Take them to the Peruvian consulate or Embassy of your area (by post works also) to get them verified. Your fiance can manage the rest in Lima. Verification of signatures in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Lima) If translation necessary also verification of the signature of the translator. (must be a Ministry's approved translator) Then later in Lima you will need to pass a medical test and that's all what is needed from your side.

Do you think I'm money for the U of Illinois
Do you think I'm money for the U of Illinois?
I'm applying to the engineering program. It is very selective since it is one of the best in the country. my ACT is 31, 4.1 (a bit low, i know), i'm in the top 10% of my class, good extracurriculars (volunteer work in peru, tennis, soccer, robotics club, environmental club), i think i wrote good essays and i'm an AP scholar.

If you are a resident of Illinois you are probably pretty close to a lock. If you are out of state you probably still have a great chance, though not quite guaranteed.

Im pretty sure youve got a great shot, u of i is somewhat prestigious..def their engineering program..HOWEVER its not THAAAAT hard..so your not at a reach..with a 4.1 and 31...i dont see why they would reject you
