I'm jealous of her!! Help?
I was recently added on facebook by an old friend who I spent a lot of summers with whenever I went to France (my dad and his family is from France). We had a great time with each other when we were younger but the last time I saw her I felt she had become a bit too superficial for me to handle (she grew up in Paris and now goes to University there). Anyway, it's been three years now and I'm looking through her photos, through her music (which she has great taste in), her videos - she goes to the concerts I've been dying to go to, she's always partying and having a good time, wearing the latest fashion, and she's going to one of the BEST universities in France (where all the smart, wealthy kids go). I do a lot of volunteer work (went to Peru last summer), I go to an average University in a college town, I keep up with my style but I don't have the money for the latest fashion, and it's a bit harder to "party" here because of the age limit and strict bouncers (haha). I can't help but compare myself to her (I'm 20, she's 19) and feel this wave of jealousy overcome me. Does anyone know how I can STOP feeling jealous, STOP comparing myself to her, and just feel happy for her?

Well,its good that you see all the good stuff you have and have done and to know that no one is perfect,wealthy,or beautiful,that may be her facebook page but that doesn't mean that's her real life and if it is the don't get jealous just be happy for her and do stuff you like to do and makes you happy..Its all about you and your happiness!! lol

Just stop comparing yourself to her! That will help I would know trust me I have Benny nealis so many times before And if you stop comparing her o you then it will all get better :)

Jealousy is a powerful feeling. You got to stop thinking about yourself, and maybe try to be grateful for what you got, because not everyone can get as far like you. And maybe try talking to your friend about how you feel. You never know, she might be going through things, but she never has told you.

Just start thinking like a friend. There's a reason to be jealous, but if you look at it in a different way, you'll see that a lot of people would like to be in your position, so don't be like "she's better", because a lot of people are going to be like "what the heck is this lady thinking, she goes to college, and is in a good position in life and is still unsatisfied, what the heck does lady want?" and then you won't make friends because your always going after that better girl (which is a good thing, but you still have a good life.) You know some people would love to go to college but can't afford it, so just accept that you have a good life, too :).

Everything is not what it seems. I have been in the "cool" party scene but felt like that wasn't meant for me it wasn't what I thought it wanted. Enjoy what you have now cause when you don't have it you'll regret not appreciatingg it enough.

How do I get an Internatyional Driver's License
How do I get an Internatyional Driver's License?
I'm from Peru and am a Legal Alien able to work and a student at University.I need a license, how do I go about getting one. I go to school in Virginia. I do not have a license in Peru and I would love any help that you can give me.

You can't, because there is no such thing. There IS an international drivers permit, which is merely a translation of your current valid drivers license into several languages and is to be carried with your valid license, not in place of it. If you don't have a valid license, you can't get a IDP either.

You do not need an IDL. You can get a regular Virginia license. Go to www.dmv.state.va.us
