$100 . . its a trick question.
2 :
1 U.S. dollar = 3.1931 Peruvian nuevo sol So $100 US Dollar = 319.31 Peruvian nuevo sol

About US$1 if you get caught in the same scam my mate did. They offer to give you a great rate for a $100 note, then some guy comes up says "Don't trust him get your money back". You get the money back slip it in your pocket walk on and then check it, low and behold it turned into a $1 note. They are good be wary.

Been to every South American Country except Venezuela and by experience found that the best theives are from Peru. That trick works also with a fake 100 dollar bill. Do not use money changers on the street no where in Latin America. The only way they can make a living is through trickery. Back when there was hyper inflation they could make a more honest living but now, no

You won't make as much as you would do in the US but the if you can make a decent income , you would live the life overthere as it is great over there. Patent lawyers of course exist in Peru ! what an insult! how do you think corporations and businesses get their patents? by chewing coca leaves? Forensics scientist of course exist in Peru! again, what an insult! geezzzzzzzz do you know they have universities down there? with governments and congress people , judges, professors, scientists, doctors , business owners and yes! even presidents and vice-presidents.......!!!????? first place to try and get info on jobs available are universities. second try www.livinginPeru.com keep in mind the job market isn't to promising, eventhough I love Peru and I think is a great country to live I am not going to deny the economy isn't that great so the ones well off down there are the professionals and business owners. see ya and good luck! :D

Patents aren't honoured too much here. Typical starting salaries are about 500 USD a month

What clothes to take to Peru

What clothes to take to Peru?
I am going to Peru for 2 1/2 months from Oct to Dec. I have a low luggage allowance on the plane (20kg!!!!) so I need to only be taking the essentials. What kind of clothes to I want to take? I am going for a medical elective so I have to make sure that I have clothes suitable for smart work. I also plan on going travelling for about two weeks in December, what kind of clothes would be best for this. Is it going to be hot/humid/rainy ect? I've been looking at the weather in Cajamarca at the mo, but I guess it wont tell me much about what it's actually like to be there. Thanks Studying in Cajamarca for 6 weeks, Chota (mountain village) for 2 weeks, then travelling around Lima, cuzco and Manchu Pichu for 2 weeks.

i can answer this since i was born there lol what city (ies) are you going to?
2 :
Lima will be hot, muggy and dusty, so take lightweight cotton, casual. The mountains, like Cuzco will be cooler, sometimes rainy so have some heavier clothing and rainwear. Since you will be going to different areas, pack things that can be layered, and try to stay in a range of colors that will mix and match. We have travelled to Peru a lot, my husband is from there and the mountains are the best. You can aways buy some nice alpaca sweaters when you go to Cuzco, that way you don't have to pack them for the trip.

Stay at home mom wishing to take in one or two infants to toddlers for extra cash in peru indiana any pointers

Stay at home mom wishing to take in one or two infants to toddlers for extra cash in peru indiana any pointers
what should I charge? I've been working in the health care feild for eight years, but would prefer to stay at home with my four month old son. You don't have to be liscensed in indiana unless you take in more than five children.

Put an ad in the paper. Tell family and friends that you are wanting to babysit. What yuo should charge really depends on what is normal for the area. I live in Central Missouri and I pay $170 for two weeks per kid.
2 :
I think the best thing to do is call around & see what other places/home childcare providers are charging & then charge a little less, or equivilent. In Texas the avg. charge for an infant is $110 per week & toddlers are about $80 p/week. Once you've decided on the charge, run an ad in the paper for advertisement.

peru is not in india and u should take care of your kids
4 :
Look in the yellow pages, call up a couple of baby minders and ask how much THEY charge as if you were considering.... advertize on your church's social board

When I babysat i had my 2 year old son babysitting a 1 year old and a two year old that were brother and sister. With a young baby I recomend babysitting toddlers that or more independant bc its hard to take care of more than 1 baby at a time. I doubt working moms would pay a high amount of money because it's not daycare but when I charged anywhere between five dollars an hour to 25 dollars a day.

Jake, you should learn to pay attention to what you read. She said Peru Indiana not India and I assure you there is a Peru Indiana as I used to work there and I currently live not too far from there. I stayed home about 5 years ago and did daycare in my home. I went through all the classes and was going to get a license but chose not to because of all the hassle. I charged $60.00 for the first child and gave a break to families who have more than one. I did my research and made up contracts to protect both myself and the clients, Plus it eliminated any confusion on pay and fee's and overtime. I enjoyed it tremendously and would still be a stay at home mom if I weren't a single parent now.
7 :
Call around and see what the other places in your area are charging for the different ages and take it from there.

I have a 6 month old baby and I watch a one year old little girl 3 to 4 days a week and I charge $100 per week. I also watch her 5 year old brother and charge $20 per day for him.
