I have a very trusted friend in Peru who has been working with the poor children in hospitals. She is asking for any money to help pay for operations that could save kids lives. Either, a) Start a Non-profit of your own [ www.managementhelp.org/strt_org/strt_np/strt_np.htm or www.ctnonprofits.org/pages/NonprofitResources/startnonprofit.asp for starters], and get rich people to give you money (they're often rich-guilty enough to do that :) or b) find non-profits who provide assistance for needy children abroad (these folks, in Peru, might be able to start you in the right direction http://www.planeterra.org/peru.php, or contact local hospitals and ask who they receive aid from) c) there are ways to take donations to your webiste, but you'll probably have to try step (a) above beforehand. Your cause sounds like a noble one, but what about the children right here in this country that go everyday hungery, with proper shelter, clothing and love. Charity starts at home! By taking care of your own only then can the others be taken care of!
