Living and working in Lima, Peru

Living and working in Lima, Peru?
I am a young American female considering taking a job at the Colegio FD Roosevelt in Lima. Has anyone had experience with this school? Also, how is life there as a young single American? Exciting? Things to do, acceptable men to meet? Thanks

I can give you info on the school, I have experience with it, during summer while at school, I would take some lessons there even though I was a student of another great english speaking school! Roosevelt is one of the best english speaking schools in Lima located in a very nice area too about the rest I cannot tell you because I'm peruvian but I would think it would be a great experience! If I were you I would go! there are tons of things to do and places to visit, you will love it there!

You'll love it there, and obviously peruvians will love you too... I'm peruvian, my people is very friendly with tourists... that school is one of the best english speaking one. Is better if you live around the school or in cities such as: San Borja, San Isidro, Miraflores, Barranco.. la Molina is great too but too far from "the city"... you'll have a great time there, good luck
